Hi friends, family and compost partners. We started Indoor Compost Company so more people in our community have the ability to re-direct where a substantial part of their trash is deposited. We want to make a change to our garbage cycle that has tangible efforts our partners can see. Thank you for caring!

We Have One Goal

Our goal is to divert the flow of
of usful nutrients from landfills

According to the EPA in 2018 the US produced 292.4 million tons of garbage while only recycling 94 million tons. On average this breaks down to 4.9 lbs. of trash per person, per day with 1.51 lbs. being recycled. Considering almost 1/3 of every households trash is compostable we are all able to make a substantial change to where a large part of our garbage is distributed. Please help Indoor Compost Company re-distribute valuable organic materials back into our local food system so we are all able to enjoy healthie produce.

Our Discovery

Using our sealed bucket food recycling system our compost partners gain the ability to direct their household’s kitchen waste. Indoor Compost Company will redistribute it into our local soil where it can build healthier produce.

Just because we live we live in an apartment or condo we all have the ability to compost our household waste into a near by garden or farm using bokashi waste fermentation. I used this for 4 1/2 years in my apartment.

Our Mission

Our mission is so simple. We want to redirect where our partner’s trash ends up. We want distribute your household’s scraps into our local farms and gardens. Please join our food recycling program and choose where your kitchen’s valuable nutrients go.

It's Not Hard To Care

Hi y’all. I’m Jonathan. I started Indoor Compost Company because of my love of our planet and the people we share it with. Through my years I have been lucky enough to work at some amazing nurseries, landscape construction companies and farm to table restaurants. Since those years in my 20’s I have been a carpenter in new and remodeled housing. The incredible amount of garbage a houses construction produces on a daily basis is why I felt I need some way to make a change. Please join me in an effort to divert a portion of our country’s massive waste issues.
